Sophomore jinx? Try sophomore masterpiece. The best second album from a band we have ever heard. MINDFUNK revamped their glam rock sound from their 1991 self titled album into one of the best stoner rock albums ever made. Dropped infuses trippy tribal atmospheric lyrics with crisp masterful guitar work to bring together this must have for any fan of music. Tremendous bass work as well that provides a bellowing undercurrent throughout the album.

Produced by Terry Date who brought forth another masterpiece in Badmotorfinger, does it again here. Every track is original and solid, but if you must have some song titles in this review give a listen to the build up and beauty of "11 Ton Butterfly", or perhaps the tremendous depth in "Goddess", featuring some of the best guitar distortion you will ever hear.

This is the type of album where it is extremely difficult to jump around tracks. Dropped flows so well that our writers agree that once this is in your heavy rotation, it's a difficult one to listen to piecemeal. Once it is in, it typically stays in for it's full 64:10.

Standout Tracks: 11 Ton Butterfly, Goddess
