Stoner rock
Sounds Like:
Kyuss, Dozer, Colour Haze
The second offering from the threesome out of Demark is possibly one of the best summer albums of all time. Released from the mighty Electrohash Records (Colour Haze), this album exhumes a  mellow warmth, even on some of the heavy parts. With the harmonizing vocals of Rutger Smeets and Hans Mulder, they put a sense of relaxation, which is a tough task for this genre, track 7, "Behind," is a perfect example. The bass is top notch, which we believe carries the album, just listen to the song "Mirador" to appreciate.

They are definitely influenced by the likes of Colour Haze and Kyuss, don’t get us wrong, they expand on this genre with their own style of stoner rock. It kind of reminds us of when we first heard Brant Bjorks' Jalamanta, which is a classic here at Rotation11.

So, we suggest listening to Mirador this summer while sitting outside in the yard enjoying the finest of summer ales. - 6/2/2013
