Metalheads rejoice, for you are about to be blessed with some killer tunes. Charger from Oakland, California have just released a fuckin' sweet three track EP of swift heavy metal with tons of groove and attitude. The vocals of Matt Freeman sound like a mix of a psychedelic Lemmy crossed with Red Fang, very fitting for the music at hand. The bass work is killer as well, at times we hear a bit of classic Suicidal Tendencies within the bass. The drumming is swift and steady and the guitar is just classic metal driven. It’s hard to pick a favorite track as this EP, it just fly's by in a blink of an eye, the only downside is it’s too damn short. Do yourself a favor and just download this on Bandcamp, it’s a nice addition to your metal collection.
