Death Metal
Sounds Like:
Death, Obituary, Immortal
Friday, February 28, 2020
Hailing from the lone star state of Texas, welcome the punishing death metal of Fleshrot. This self-titled demo consists of two psychedelic death metal tunes that showcase a promising start of the Fleshrot era. Sandwiched between two procession-like filler tracks, 'Twisted Visions Prevail' and 'Bubbling Cerebric Waste' are solid tunes of brutal death metal with hints of black metal thrown in. Being this is a demo, Fleshrot do a pretty nice job of capturing the psychedelic and raw side of the genre. Hats off to Desert Wasteland Productions for supporting these guys as fans of Death, Obituary, and Immortal will dig this EP and hopefully lead to a full length down the road.

1. Procession 01:50
2. Twisted Visions Prevail 04:23
3. Bubbling Cerebric Waste 02:40
4. Interment 00:56

Adult Beverage Pairing
Grab some Shipfaced by Michigan’s Silver Harbor Brewing Company. This 12.6% ABV American Barleywine styled brew has a dark- medium body with a slight bitterness, a good pairing for Fleshrot.
