The originality in the name and trippy album cover art had us eager to crank this one and put through our heavy rotation. The opener and title track "Kaleidotripic" had us practically on cloud nine with its beyond impressive fretwork and detailed grungy grooves. Welcome, Jerky Dirt hailing from Nottingham UK, for what you have is one of the most dramatic openers and lead-in to fall from grace. As "Portal" sucks us way down with sub-par vocals they really derail the experience. Its been awhile since we have seen such quality fretwork paired up with painfully weak vocals.

Track Listing:
1. Kaleidotripic (7:50)
2. Portal (3:37)
3. Leonov’s Waltz (1:47)
4. Aquila Cadens (4:49)
5. Nebulove (3:37)
6. First Light (8:14)

Standout Track:
The instrumental opener and title track takes the clear prize here. Kudos to the lead guitar work throughout this album, quite impressive.

Adult Beverage Pairing:
The UK’s Blue Monkey Brewery has some gems. Take a swig of some Chocolate Amaretto Guerrilla at a modest 4.9% ABV, pitch black beer full of malty complexity. Velvet smooth, with a hint of chocolate and Amaretto! Vegan friendly.

Final Thoughts:
Well we would say give this one a gander if you can sonically drown out the vocals. The grunge fuzz-toned guitar-work are exceptional. Unfortunately it sinks like a fucking cinder block once the vocals kick-in.
